Follow Up Boss Pricing: What It Really Costs Once You Add Everything

Follow Up Boss pricing in 2026, plus the website, texting, and calling costs around it. Worked totals for a solo agent and a 5-agent team, compared with GoHighLevel.

TLDR Follow Up Boss pricing starts at $69 per user a month on Grow, plus $39 per user for calling. Pro is $499 a month for 10 users with calling included, and Platform is $1,000 a month for 30 users. That price is fair for what you get. The real Follow Up Boss cost shows up in the tools around it: an IDX website from another company and a separate tool for mass or drip texting. A solo agent lands around $197 a month plus a $500 website setup fee. A 5-agent team lands around $588 a month at the low end. GoHighLevel covers the same jobs in one account for $97 a month plus usage.

About 1,000 people a month search "follow up boss pricing." I get why. The pricing page is clear, but it only tells you what the CRM costs. It doesn't tell you what it costs to run your business on it.

Those are two different numbers, and the gap between them is where agents get surprised.

I build CRMs and follow-up systems for agents and teams, mostly in GoHighLevel. I'm not a licensed agent, and I don't sell houses. So I have a side here, and I'll be upfront about it. But I'm going to be fair to Follow Up Boss, because it's a good product and the math only helps you if it's honest.

Follow Up Boss pricing in 2026

Here's what Follow Up Boss charges, straight from the Follow Up Boss pricing page as of November 2026.

PlanMonthly billingYearly billingUsers includedCalling
Grow$69 per user a month$58 per user a monthPriced per user+$39 per user a month ($33 yearly)
Pro$499 a month$416 a month10 users, then $49 each ($41 yearly)Included
Platform$1,000 a month$833 a month30 users, then $20 each ($17 yearly)Included

Yearly billing works out to about two months free. Every plan gets two-way texting, an autoresponder that texts new leads, drip emails, batch emailing, and phone and email support seven days a week.

The AI is included too. Smart summaries, suggested tasks, and AI-drafted messages come at no extra charge. One footnote matters, though: Follow Up Boss says some AI features rely on data from FUB Calling, which is a paid add-on on Grow. So if you want the AI to work fully on Grow, plan on the $39 calling add-on.

What Follow Up Boss doesn't include

The pricing table lists "IDX websites" under its integrations section, and that's the key word. Follow Up Boss connects to IDX website providers. It doesn't build or host your website.

Its help center lists the providers it connects to, including Sierra Interactive, Ylopo, Luxury Presence, and Real Geeks. Each one is its own subscription with its own bill.

Texting has a similar gap. Follow Up Boss's native texting is built for one-on-one conversations, and group texts top out at 10 numbers in a shared thread. Its texting page says drip text nurturing runs through partners like Agent Legend and Call Action. If you want to send a price drop to 400 past clients or run a text drip for months, that's another tool.

None of that makes Follow Up Boss bad. It's a CRM, and it does the CRM job well. It just means the sticker price is only one line of your bill.

The real Follow Up Boss cost: the stack around it

To keep this fair, I priced each add-on using real companies that publish their prices, and I picked the low end. A lot of teams pay much more, especially for the bigger IDX platforms, which mostly don't publish prices at all.

  • IDX website. iHomefinder lists a hosted IDX website add-on at $50 a month plus a $500 setup fee. That's on the cheap end. Sierra Interactive, Ylopo, and Luxury Presence are quote-based and usually cost more.
  • Mass and drip texting. SimpleTexting shows an estimated $39 a month for 500 credits, billed yearly. Bigger volumes cost more, and the page doesn't list those prices.
  • Calling. $39 per user on Grow, included on Pro and Platform.
  • Email marketing. Follow Up Boss includes drip emails and batch emailing, so I'm counting this at $0. If you want designed newsletters, add a tool like Mailchimp on top.

I left out a lot on purpose. Scheduling links, social posting, review requests, and landing pages for ads all tend to become more subscriptions too. I'm keeping the math tight so nobody can say I padded it.

Worked example: a solo agent

Say you're a solo agent paying monthly. You want a website that catches leads, a CRM that texts them, the ability to call from your phone, and a way to text your whole database a couple of times a month.

Line itemMonthly cost
Follow Up Boss Grow, 1 user$69
FUB Calling$39
IDX website (iHomefinder hosted site)$50
Mass texting (SimpleTexting, 500 credits)$39
Monthly total$197
One-time website setup$500
Year one total$2,864

Pay yearly for Follow Up Boss and the CRM part drops to $91 a month, which brings the total to about $180 a month.

Now the same agent on GoHighLevel. Starter is $97 a month on the GoHighLevel pricing page, and it includes the CRM, a website builder, forms, calendars, email marketing, two-way texting, and automations. Texts and calls are billed by usage. GoHighLevel's phone pricing guide lists US texts at about $0.0075 per segment and outbound calls at about $0.017 a minute. Most solo agents I work with land somewhere between $30 and $80 a month in usage.

That puts a solo agent on GoHighLevel around $127 to $177 a month, with no setup fee for the website. Add the AI Employee at $50 a month if you want AI agents texting your leads, and you're at $177 to $227.

So for one agent, the money is closer than most GoHighLevel ads suggest. Here's the thing, though. The bigger difference isn't the bill. It's that your website, texts, emails, and follow-up all live in one place instead of four, and the AI can run a whole conversation instead of just drafting a message.

Infographic breaking down Follow Up Boss pricing once you add everything in 2026. A solo agent pays $69 for Grow, $39 for calling, $50 for an IDX website, and $39 for mass texting, about $197 a month plus a $500 website setup. A 5-agent team pays $499 for Pro plus a website and texting tool, about $588 a month at the low end. GoHighLevel covers the same jobs in one account for $97 a month plus usage.

Worked example: a 5-agent team

Teams are where the math starts to move.

On Grow, five agents with calling would be 5 times $108, which is $540 a month. Pro is cheaper at $499 a month and includes calling for up to 10 users, so any team of five or more should look at Pro first. I'll use Pro.

Line itemMonthly cost
Follow Up Boss Pro (up to 10 users, calling included)$499
Team IDX website (iHomefinder hosted site)$50
Mass texting (SimpleTexting starting tier)$39
Monthly total, low end$588
One-time website setup$500
Year one total, low end$7,556

That's the floor. A team of five usually outgrows 500 text credits fast, and most teams I talk to run one of the bigger IDX platforms, not the cheapest one. Paying yearly for Pro saves $83 a month.

The same team on GoHighLevel pays $97 a month for Starter, with no per-user fee. Five agents texting and calling usually run $150 to $250 a month in usage. Add the AI Employee Unlimited plan at $97 a month, and the whole team runs about $344 to $444 a month. That's roughly $4,100 to $5,300 for year one, with the website, texting campaigns, and AI follow-up already inside.

Over a year, that's a gap of about $2,200 to $3,400, and it grows every time the team adds an agent or a tool.

Where Follow Up Boss is worth the money

I'd be lying if I said the cheaper bill always wins.

Follow Up Boss is worth it if you run a team that buys a lot of portal leads and your agents work the phones all day. Lead routing, ponds, and team accountability are built in. A new agent can be working leads on day one. If you already pay for a website and a texting tool you love, adding Follow Up Boss in the middle is a clean choice.

Its support is also strong. Every plan gets phone and email help seven days a week, and Pro and Platform include help importing contacts and connecting your lead sources.

Where the extra tools cost more than money

The part that never shows up on a pricing page is the time.

Every tool in the stack has its own login, its own contact list, and its own idea of who your leads are. When a buyer replies to a mass text, that reply has to find its way back to the CRM. When the website catches a lead at midnight, it has to reach Follow Up Boss before the autoresponder can fire. Most of the time, it works fine. When it breaks, nobody notices until a lead has been sitting untouched for a week.

That's the main reason I move agents to GoHighLevel. The form, the texts, the emails, the booking, and the long-term follow-up all happen in one account. In October 2026, HighLevel also shipped AI tools that build workflows from one sentence and set up AI agents from a short description, so the setup that used to scare agents off is mostly handled for you.

Everything I build is text-based follow-up that sounds like you. No phone robots and no AI voice calls. The AI handles the fast reply and the months of follow-up, and you step in when a real person should.

FAQ

How much does Follow Up Boss cost per month?

According to Follow Up Boss's pricing page, the Grow plan costs $69 per user a month, or $58 billed yearly, and calling adds $39 per user. Pro costs $499 a month for 10 users with calling included. Platform costs $1,000 a month for 30 users. Your IDX website and any mass texting tool are separate costs.

Does Follow Up Boss charge per user?

Yes, on the Grow plan, where every user costs $69 a month. Pro includes 10 users for $499 a month and charges $49 for each extra user. Platform includes 30 users for $1,000 a month and charges $20 for each extra user. GoHighLevel doesn't charge per user on any plan.

Is there a free trial of Follow Up Boss?

Yes. Follow Up Boss's pricing page offers a 14-day free trial with no contract. Use those two weeks to send a test lead through your own website and time how fast it gets its first text.

What is the total cost of Follow Up Boss for a team?

For a 5-agent team, the Pro plan at $499 a month is usually cheaper than Grow, since it includes calling for up to 10 users. Add a low-cost IDX website at about $50 a month plus a $500 setup fee, and a texting tool starting around $39 a month, and the team pays about $588 a month at the low end.

Is GoHighLevel cheaper than Follow Up Boss?

Usually, and the gap grows with team size. A solo agent's costs are fairly close once you add GoHighLevel's usage fees and AI Employee. For a 5-agent team, GoHighLevel runs about $344 to $444 a month with AI included, compared with about $588 or more for a Follow Up Boss stack, and the website and texting campaigns are already inside.

Bottom line

Follow Up Boss pricing is fair for a great CRM. The real Follow Up Boss cost is the CRM plus the website, the texting tool, and the time it takes to keep them talking to each other. For a solo agent, that's close to a wash. For a team, GoHighLevel saves a few thousand dollars a year and replaces three logins with one.
